Extreme Sportfishing Adventures is a family owned and operated business. Your qualified skipper Mark
Armistead (pictured) along with his wife Helen and daughter Olive welcome you to the Bay of Plenty.
Mark Armistead has been fishing these waters for a number of years now and has personally accounted for
some amazing catches; he has also been responsible for putting his customers onto huge fish that dreams
are made of.
Mark has won many local competitions including the prestigious Tauranga Game Fishing Club, One Base Tournament. Mark is the current holder of New Zealand’s most famous Game fish trophy the “Old Man and
the Sea” award. Mark also won the inaugural “Ilex” trophy for the most meritorious catch for the 2009/2010 season awarded by www.fishing.net.nz
Mark is a keen photographer and a regular contributor to the Bay Fisher Magazine.
Our 7m Extreme Game King (aka the Kingy Dinghy) is located at Fort Nautilus Dry Stack, Sulphur
Point Tauranga. (click here for driving directions and map) The Kingy Dinghy is fully equipped
with the latest safety equipment and surveyed by Maritime New Zealand. It is powered by 2 x 90HP
Evinrude E-Tech motors with the latest low emission technology. There is a toilet onboard.
